Handwoven Project Bag

A chance meeting during Weave A Real Peace’s annual meeting led to the creation of these perfectly sized handwoven project bags for your swatching looms, accessories, and yarn. 

I sketched a simple design concept and my sizing requirements and the weavers of the Ixil Cooperative wove the fabric and sewed the bag, adding a jacquard woven damask Yarnworker label. Woven with 100% unmercerized cotton, the fabric is sturdy, yet subtle enough to close securely. 

Bag Specs

• 100% unmercerized cotton.
  
• Handwoven by the Ixil Cooperative.
• Measures 9.25'' x 12’’, large enough to fit multiple looms, accessories and a couple of cones or skien of yarn. 
  
• Drawstring closure. The closure is a bit unusual, as you pull, one side draws close. As you continue to pull, the other side will close.
