We encourage you to try things and come to your own conclusions about what works best for you. Yarnworker cannot be held responsible for projects that go amuck.

By interacting with the Yarnworker space you give us permission to post photographs of Yarnworker related projects you post in the various platforms. All photography will be identified by name. If you wish that we don’t share your photos, please email us at worker@yarnworker.com.

User Accounts

Most features of this website do not require you to create an account. If you make a purchase from the Yarnworker shop, you have the option to create an account. This information is collected to fulfill your orders and communicate with you if there are any issues. You can read our privacy policy regarding data collection here.

Cancellation

You may delete your user information at any time by logging into your account. To do so, click on your avatar in the top right corner to access your user information to change your preferences.

We reserve the right to revoke your account membership at any time for any reason, including, but not limited to: misuse of the site, abusive behavior, or inappropriate content posted on the site.

Shipping of Physical Goods

Please verify that your shipping address is correct at checkout. Yarnworker cannot be held responsible for misdelivered packages.

Physical items will ship within 3 business days of payment, excluding U.S. holidays, and any periods of time when we are traveling. These dates will be posted on the checkout landing page.

Items are shipped via USPS First Class, or Priority mail for packages over 13 ounces. The shopping cart is automatically configured to give you the actual price for combined shipments.

When your package is shipped, you will be sent a tracking number via email. Please retain this information for your records.

Note that we are required by law to list the contents and actual value for international shipments. Please take into account your country’s customs fees, as we cannot alter this information.

The shipping landscape is constantly changing and we do our best to get physical products to you at a reasonable cost and at a reasonable time with the resources available to us.

Returns/Exchanges

If you are dissatisfied with your product, please contact us at worker@yarnworker.com. Yarnworker accepts returns/exchanges with no questions asked within two weeks of purchase. After this time, you may receive store credit.

Affiliate Links

This site occasionally uses affiliate links for products we feel will benefit your rigid-heddle life. These links are clearly marked. When you click on these links and make a purchase, a small portion of that sale comes back to Yarnworker.

Mailing List

We maintain a mailing list via Mailchimp, a third-party service. Via this list, we send a monthly newsletter, periodic updates, and optional notices of your choosing.

You can opt in or out of this newsletter any time by clicking here.

Yarnworker School

The Yarnworker School is hosted on another platform where you will have to create a separate user account. When you sign up for a Yarnworker School account, we will send you a notice to opt-in to the Yarnworker mailing list. If you do not wish to do so, you can ignore the message.

Patreon

We maintain a patreon community for folks who wish to support the ongoing efforts of hosting an online rigid-heddle weaving school. When you sign up for Patreon, you also must create a separate user account. You can set your preferences as to how you would like to be notified via that site.

Please use the same email you used to sign up for Patreon to create an account at the Yarnworker School or vie versa. This way you benefits can be automatically populated to your personal school dashboard.
