FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
Shipping of Physical Goods
Please verify that your shipping address is correct at checkout. Yarnworker cannot be held responsible for misdelivered packages.
Physical items will ship within 3 business days of payment, excluding U.S. holidays, and any periods of time when we are traveling. These dates will be posted on the checkout landing page.
Items are shipped via USPS First Class, or Priority mail for packages over 13 ounces. The shopping cart is automatically configured to give you the actual price for combined shipments.
When your package is shipped, you will be sent a tracking number via email. Please retain this information for your records.
Note that we are required by law to list the contents and actual value for international shipments. Please take into account your country’s customs fees, as we cannot alter this information.
The shipping landscape is constantly changing and we do our best to get physical products to you at a reasonable cost and at a reasonable time with the resources available to us.
When will I get my order?
For physical goods: I ship via USPS. As a solopreneur, I do my best to timely get the products out the door in less than 72 hours often shipping same day. Please understand that there are a lot of shipping disruptions and constraints and there may be some delays that are out of my control. Shipping outside of the U.S. may be problematic and shipping costs are out of my control.
For digital goods: digital goods are delivered as PDFs via email shortly after your order is complete.
Can I return/exchange an item?
If you are dissatisfied with your product, please contact us at worker@yarnworker.com. Yarnworker accepts returns/exchanges with no questions asked within two weeks of purchase. After this time, you may receive store credit.
How do I get digital patterns and books?
Digital patterns and books are delivered as PDFs via email after you checkout.
Where are Swatch Maker Looms made?
Swatch Maker Looms were created as a collaboration between Liz Gipson of Yarnworker and Angela Smith, formerly of Purl & Loop. All components (wood, needles, cotton bag project bag, instructions, etc.) are sourced from U.S. businesses and produced and assembled in the U.S. The looms and tools are packaged in recycled or recyclable materials.
Due to manufacturing constrains supplies may be limited and prices may fluctuate.
Can I use multiple discount codes?
Only one discount at a time can apply to a single order.
Why is my Patreon discount code not working?
If you are an active Patreon supporter, specific levels get shop discount codes. If your discount code isn't working:
1. Double check you are entering it correctly. The discount code is case sensitive.
2. Check to see if another discount code is being used or automatically applied to your cart. If so, try removing that code and entering your Patreon discount. Only one discount code can be used per order.
If neither of those work, please contact us at worker@yarnworker.com
