I uncovered a few of these original sett checkers made of Birch wool with the original Yarnworker logo. These are exactly the same as the sett checkers I keep in stock except made with a different wood.

Quickly compare a single yarn in three different setts side-by-side with this ingenious little tool. Setts of 8, 10, and 12, and their metric equivalents, are the most common setts used on the rigid-heddle loom.

Sett Checker Features

  • Made of ⅛'' birch wood
  • Measures approximately 5'' x 1''. A short 3'' ruler etched on the side gives you a flat edge to check your picks per inch on and off the loom
  • Engraved with the original Yarnworker Rosie inspired logo

The Swatch Maker Loom line and associated accessories were created as a collaboration between Liz Gipson of Yarnworker and Angela Smith, formerly of Purl & Loop. All components (wood, needles, cotton bag project bag, instructions, etc.) are sourced from U.S. businesses and produced and assembled in the U.S. The looms and tools are packaged in recycled or recyclable materials.

Due to manufacturing constrains supplies may be limited. I ship via USPS and do my best to timely get the products out the door. Please understand that there are a lot of shipping disruptions and constraints and there may be some delays that are out of my control. Shipping outside of the U.S. may be problematic and the costs are out of my control.
